Up and Coming Changes
- Version 3. We had hoped to bring Version 2 to life in Jan 2009. The massive new software went out to researchers last week, but o-no! Excel bugs mean that the large file was unworkable on many computers. (Guess we pushed that software to its limits, and then some, sigh.) So we plan to rebuild the entire spreadsheet from scratch as a stand-alone piece of software. (No more microsoft - yay). It will unfortunately take months. Apologies for the delay to all those who were hoping to see it sooner. But in the end it will be much better, much bigger, faster and more powerful without Excel...
- Version 3 will be an even more user friendly way to view the mass of data.
A full window to view each company, rather than a line on a spreadsheet. - A full breakdown of reserves and resources into different categories.
- All mineral resources (Cu, Ni, Fe...etc) will be included.
- A Change Report. A document describing the changes every two weeks
to draw attention to the most interesting announcements that came out
since the last update. - Record of Insider buying and selling.
- Record of Recent Drill results.
NOTE: We don't make many news announcements here. We normally email news to subscribers. If for some reason our email systems are down, or something unforseen occurs, we'll post notes here. Otherwise we send emails because then we can be sure people get the message. So this is a message board of last resort for news, and a good place to leave notes that subscribers may want to come back and check on.
