GATA - Gold Anti Trust Action Committee
Bill Murphy and GATA have worked for years to improve tranparency in the global gold market and expose price fixing and manipulation. They've filed law suits, and pointed out shortcomings in the IMF's accounting for gold in central banks. GATA is gaining more and more credibility. In early 2006, a report by large French Bank Credit Agricole cited GATA's findings in great detail in Chapter IV of the Cheuvreux Report, and concluded they are "broadly correct." GATA keeps track of news stories around the globe with information about the gold market.
