Hardware and Software Requirements
1. Each GoldNerds product is a Microsoft Excel file. You
must have Microsoft Excel (2000 or later) to be able to use our
products. GoldNerds uses macros to turn the spreadsheet into a mini-program -- GoldNerds products are more program than spreadsheet!
2. Minimum screen size of 1024 x 768 pixels.
3. Apple Macs? We like them, but unfortunately the newest version of Microsoft Excel for Mac (Execl 2008 for Mac) does not support macros and therefore cannot run GoldNerds. Previous versions of Excel for Mac supported most but not quite all of the "standard" macro commands, so GoldNerds mostly (but not completely) works on Excel for Mac versions 2000 - 2007. As far as we know GoldNerds spreadsheets run ok on Parallels on Mac, but that also requires a Windows version of Excel. Sorry, but the days of GoldNerds and other financial spreadsheets on Mac are numbered (the finance industry runs on Excel!).
